What we treat

What we treat

From routine nail care to nail surgery, gait analysis, and shockwave therapy — here is what we offer at both clinics.

Podiatrist trimming a patient's toenails

Nail cutting

A safe, comfortable nail cutting service with sanitised instruments — useful if you struggle to reach your feet, have thickened nails, or just want them tidied properly. Quick to book, no fuss.

Routine podiatry treatment in clinic

Routine podiatry

Comprehensive routine foot care to keep things in good condition between visits. Includes thorough callus and hard-skin reduction and professional nail care for problem toenails.

  • Callus and corn debridement
  • Hard-skin reduction and cracked-heel care
  • Nail cutting, thinning, and reshaping
Diabetic foot health assessment

Diabetic foot care & new patient assessment

Annual diabetic foot assessments covering circulation, sensation, and skin health, with a written report you can share with your GP. New patients are given a full first-visit evaluation and a plan tailored to their needs.

  • Annual diabetic foot review
  • Risk screening and preventative advice
  • Comprehensive new-patient evaluation
Biomechanical and gait analysis

Biomechanics & gait analysis

An in-depth assessment of how you stand, walk, and run. We identify the underlying movement patterns behind heel pain, shin pain, or recurring injuries and put together a personalised plan — including footwear and orthotic advice where appropriate.

  • Static and dynamic gait analysis
  • Footwear and activity guidance
  • Orthotic recommendations if needed
Minor nail surgery procedure

Minor nail surgery

A specialist procedure for problem toenails that keep coming back. We assess the nail and surrounding tissue under local anaesthetic and, depending on the cause, perform partial or total nail removal with treatment of the nail bed to prevent recurrence.

  • Ingrown toenails
  • Recurrent nail infections
  • Persistent nail abnormalities
Verruca treatment on a patient's foot

Verruca treatment

Verrucas can be stubborn, so we work through the options together and pick what fits you best. Treatments range from topical applications and cryotherapy through to needling — a one-session immune-mediated procedure for resistant verrucas.

  • Topical applications (creams and ointments)
  • Cryotherapy (freezing with liquid nitrogen)
  • Needling (Falknor's technique) for resistant verrucas
Shockwave therapy applied to the foot

Lower-limb shockwave therapy

A non-invasive treatment that uses focused acoustic pulses to help painful soft-tissue conditions in the foot and lower leg. Particularly useful for stubborn plantar fasciitis and Morton's neuroma when other approaches have not settled things down.

  • Plantar fasciitis and chronic heel pain
  • Achilles tendinopathy
  • Morton's neuroma
  • Other persistent lower-limb soft-tissue pain
Custom orthotic insoles

Orthotic devices

Custom support for your feet to relieve pain, share load more evenly, and improve how you move. We fit semi-bespoke devices that adapt off-the-shelf shells to your foot, and fully bespoke orthotics made to a cast or scan of your foot when an exact fit is needed.

  • Semi-bespoke orthotics
  • Fully bespoke (custom-made) orthotics
Urgent same-week podiatry appointment
